Im writing a article coming from a person who’s quit smoking point of view. What are good statements to put into the article
A persuasive text is supposed to convince the person.
You are trying to convince a smoker to quit smoking like you already did.
The best way to get at this is to…
–Mention all the negatives of smoking(the diseases, like Chronic bronchitis, Emphysema, lung cancer)
–Mention its effects like bad breath, stained fingers, the stereotyping smokers get etc.
When you’ve done this, compare your past life with your present.
How quitting smoking has helped you now? (you don’t waste money on cigarettes anymore)
How they it would help you in the futue?( the tar built up in your lungs would reduce a little because you’ve quit smoking.. and less the chance of lung cancer.)
Compare all this facts and state the obvious to whoever you are persuading why they should quit smoking.
